What data we process

• Data sent through the contact form: name, email address and message text.
• Browsing data: IP address and technical request data (browser, page visited, date and time), logged by the hosting provider to run and secure the site.
• One technical cookie that remembers the chosen language. Details are in the Cookie policy.

Purposes and legal basis

The data is processed only for these purposes. It is not used for marketing or shared with third parties for their own purposes.

• Replying to requests sent through the contact form: steps taken at the request of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Running and securing the site: the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Providing your data

Filling in the contact form is optional. Without a name, email and message, however, we cannot reply to your request.

Recipients and providers

The data is processed by the controller and by providers acting as processors:

• Vercel Inc. (website hosting).
• Resend (delivery of contact form messages, from its EU region).
• Google (the controller's mailbox, Google Workspace).
• The map on the Contact page is loaded from the OpenStreetMap Foundation: opening that page shares your IP address with its servers.

Transfers outside the EU

Some providers are based in the United States or the United Kingdom. In those cases transfers rely on the safeguards in Articles 45 and 46 GDPR, such as European Commission adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Retention

• Contact form messages: as long as needed to handle the request, and at most 24 months unless a professional relationship begins.
• Browsing data: for the period set by the hosting provider for technical and security purposes.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format (Articles 15–21 GDPR), by writing to info@robertoantobenedetto.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
